Yes, the gravel road to the farm is fully accessible by car. While the surface is gravel, we recommend driving at a slow speed to ensure comfort and safety. If you have any concerns about your vehicle's suitability, please contact us in advance.

Please note that the Farm House and Valley Cabin are not pet-friendly. For the campsite, we do allow pets, only when it is pre-arranged and permission is granted, by sending an email or WhatsApp message before booking. The owners of Gourits River Guest Farm reserve the right to decline guests if prior permission for pets was not requested and granted. The deposit and any payments made will be non-refundable.

If cancelling up to 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total. If cancelling up to 21 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit. If cancelling up to 30 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit. If cancelling up to 49 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit. Free cancellation if cancelling 50+ days before arrival.

On the farm, mobile reception is very limited. However, the Farm House and Valley Cabin offer free WiFi to help you stay connected. For guests opting for Eco-camping, there is a dedicated WiFi spot to provide internet access while maintaining the natural, off-grid experience. This setup ensures you can enjoy the tranquility of the farm while still having internet access when needed.

Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities that combine gentle relaxation with adventurous experiences. Available activities include canoeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, mountain biking, bird watching, and 4x4 trails. It’s important to note that some activities, particularly canoeing, swimming, fishing and 4x4 trials, depend on the water levels in the river, which can vary seasonally. You can expect a true farm experience with warm hospitality and a natural, open landscape. The setting is ideal for guests who enjoy being close to nature and the slower rhythm of the countryside.

The farm is situated 16km outside Albertinia, along the scenic Garden Route, with beautiful views overlooking the Gourits River. It is important to note that the farm is not near Gouritsmond, which is approximately 40 kilometers away. When planning your visit, please use Albertinia as your reference point to avoid confusion and ensure you arrive at the correct location.
